Aaron Martell, Executive Vice President of Logistics Property Company’s Central Region, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Make-A-Wish Illinois. He joins other committed directors who oversee the strategic direction of one of the largest Make-A-Wish chapters in the world. Directors are elected for three-year terms.

Logistics Property Company (“LPC”), a modern logistics real estate developer, investor, and manager headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, has partnered with Make-A-Wish Illinois since LPC’s founding in 2018, celebrating each anniversary with a fundraiser benefitting Make-A-Wish. To date, LPC and their partners have raised nearly $1 million dollars for the organization, helping to grant wishes to children with critical illnesses.

“I’m grateful and excited to participate on the board of such an amazing organization”, said Martell. “I look forward to continuing to build the strong relationship between Logistics Property Company and Make-A-Wish Illinois.”

“Through our board of directors, we are able to tap into the expertise of our area’s most respected leaders,” said Stephanie Springs, Chief Executive Officer of Make-A-Wish Illinois. “We are thrilled to add Aaron to our board as we strive to share the power of a wish for every eligible child in Illinois. His energy and experience will be important as the board leads the way on our key strategic initiatives enabling us to grant more wishes than ever before.”

Make-A-Wish is dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Research has shown that children who have had wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illness. Since its founding in 1985, Make-A-Wish Illinois has granted more than 17,000 wishes. This year alone, they will grant more than 700 wishes to children across the state, continuing their mission to share the power of a wish®.
