Each year, GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) assesses and benchmarks the ESG performance of assets worldwide, providing clarity and insights to financial markets on complex sustainability topics. GRESB Assessments are guided by what investors and the industry consider to be material issues in sustainability performance of asset investments and are aligned with international reporting frameworks, goals, and emerging regulations. The GRESB ESG Benchmark grew this year to cover more than USD 8.8 trillion of gross asset value, encompassing 2,084 real estate entities, 687 infrastructure assets and 172 infrastructure funds.

“The strategic integration of GRESB into LPC’s sustainable pathway has provided us with ethical considerations and long-term value creation principles, which in turn supports our ability to effectively mitigate risk, enhance performance, and align our portfolio with a robust and sustainable future.” said Jim Martell, Chief Executive Officer at Logistics Property Company.

“We are proud to be named a GRESB Regional Sector Leader and our assessment score is a testament to the excellence in sustainable management, teamwork, integration, and expertise across the company. stated Elena Daniel, Senior Vice President and Head of Environmental, Social and Governance, Logistics Property Company. “We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this achievement.”

“GRESB Sector Leaders embody the industry’s champions, leading the charge towards a net-zero future and propelling the sector forward. We wholeheartedly commend this year’s Sector Leaders for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to ESG principles and sustainability.” stated Sebastien Roussotte, Chief Executive Officer of GRESB.

In recent years, there has been increased demand for sustainability-focused real estate construction and operation, as well as a call for increased transparency into the efforts put forth by companies as they adopt ESG-centric business practices, all leading to the adoption of new strategic GRESB reporting processes. LPC’s commitment to GRESB and ESG reporting will continue to be guided by industry leading practices and principles, which are further highlighted in the 2022 ESG Report.

GRESB is an industry-driven organization committed to assessing the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance of real estate portfolios (public, private, and direct) around the globe. The dynamic benchmark is the international standard by which institutional investors engage with their investments and improve the sustainability performance of real estate portfolios.
