Logistics Property Company, LLC (“LPC”), a modern logistics real estate developer, investor, and manager headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, recently celebrated the company’s 5th anniversary with a reception to benefit Make-A-Wish®.
This year, donors had the opportunity to designate their contributions to local Make-A-Wish chapters in areas where Logistics Property Company’s eight offices are located: Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, and Seattle. “As Logistics Property Company continues to grow, we are committed to giving back to the communities our employees call home,” shared Jim Martell, LPC’s Chief Executive Officer.
Make-A-Wish North Texas received a $10,000 donation from Logistics Property Company to provide wish experiences for children facing critical illnesses. “Since LPC’s founding, giving back to the community has been part of our DNA. Our 5th anniversary was significant for us as a team and for our fundraising effort, which will continue to be a focus,” said Kent Newsom, Executive Vice President of LPC’s South Region.
LPC has celebrated each anniversary by bringing all employees together, along with national lenders, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and partners, raising money to benefit Make-A-Wish®. To date, LPC and their partners have raised nearly $1 million dollars for Make-A-Wish wish kids, granting 100 wishes.
“We’re incredibly grateful for this gift from Logistics Property Company,” said Murphey Sears, Chief Development Officer for Make-A-Wish North Texas. “More than 1,100 children in our chapter are waiting to experience the transformational impact of a wish right now, and this gift will truly make an impact.”
