This marks the third full-building lease at the 252-acre master-planned logistics destination within the South Dallas submarket of the DFW metroplex

Logistics Property Company, LLC (LPC) has executed a full-building lease with an American multinational corporation engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories, and services for a 1,038,618-square-foot, modern logistics facility at Southport Logistics Park, Building 3, Wilmer, Texas.

Southport Logistics Park (Southport) is positioned directly along Interstate 45 and across from the Union Pacific Intermodal yard. Prior to this lease, Logistics Property Company’s assets within the Class A industrial park included 1.5 million square feet under two buildings, a 400,000 square foot cross-docked facility leased to an operating subsidiary of a Fortune 100 eCommerce company; and a 1.1 million square foot cross-docked facility leased to an iconic American consumer packaged goods manufacturer. With the addition of the American Multinational Corporation, it now comprises more than 2.5 million square feet under three buildings. At full build-out it can accommodate more than 3.7 million square feet of Class-A industrial space.

“Logistics Property Company is delighted to welcome our newest tenant to Southport,” said Max Mueller, Vice President – South Region. “We have no doubt that they are in good company alongside their high-caliber corporate neighbors at our rapidly growing industrial park.”

Kacy Jones and John Hendricks with CBRE in Dallas-Fort Worth represented LPC on the lease.

“Located one mile east of Interstate 45 and the Union Pacific Intermodal, and five miles south of Interstate 20, Southport offers tenants a premier logistics location within Dallas-Fort Worth,” said Kacy Jones.

“Less than 48 hours from every major market in North America, it’s the perfect logistics and manufacturing center for all types of operations, big or small,” Jones added.

Seth Kelly and Dan Estes with CBRE and Nathan Lawrence acted as tenant representatives for the American Multinational Corporation.

LPC is currently marketing for Build-to-Suit Southport Building 4, a 620,000-square-foot, industrial development—expandable to 960,000 square feet—which will take the park to more than 3.4 million square feet across four buildings
