Since the company’s founding in 2018, nearly $1,500,000 has been raised to help grant wishes to children with critical illnesses

Logistics Property Company, LLC, a logistics real estate owner, developer, and manager headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, celebrated the company’s sixth anniversary on May 8, 2024, with a reception to benefit Make-A-Wish®.

The event, held at Marshall’s Landing at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago, was hosted by Jim Martell, Logistics Property Company’s Chief Executive Officer, and featured emcee Sean Lewis, award-winning journalist, and WGN anchor. More than 250 guests attended the celebration, which included a speech from the father of a wish recipient, who shared a moving story of the impact that a granted wish made on their family.

Since the company’s founding in 2018, Logistics Property Company has celebrated each anniversary by bringing all employees together, along with the firm’s national lenders, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and partners, to raise money for Make-A-Wish®. This year’s fundraiser brought in $421,400 for Make-A-Wish®. To date, the company has raised nearly $1.5 million to help provide life-changing wish experiences for children facing critical illnesses.

“We are thrilled to have exceeded our fundraising goal again this year and are sincerely grateful to those who helped us achieve success with their generous donations,” said Martell. “Community involvement is a key component of what Logistics Property Company stands for as an organization, and we will continue to invest in our communities as a part of our core values.”

Generous donors had the opportunity to designate their contributions to local Make-A-Wish chapters that serve the children in the areas where Logistics Property Company’s teams are located: Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

“Every wish granted creates hope and renewed energy for wish kids,” said Make-A-Wish Illinois CEO Stephanie Springs. “Logistics Property Company and their donors have been amazing supporters, and we are thrilled to celebrate another year of partnership so that together, we can create more life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.”
