As Senior Vice President at Logistics Property Company, Jay Mitchell oversees all property and market related activities including all development, acquisitions, leasing and asset management in the in the East Region.

Jay has more than 30 years of real estate experience, with a specific focus in commercial and industrial real estate, that includes various roles in brokerage, asset management, development and leasing.

Prior to joining Logistics Property Company, Jay served as Senior Vice President with DCT and Senior Vice President, Regional Director with IDI Gazeley both leading national operators and developers of industrial real estate. While there his team was responsible for the development of 10 million square feet of speculative and build to suit industrial facilities in addition to completing new and renewal leases totaling over 15 million square feet.

• Jay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Real Estate, University of Georgia, Athens, GA. He is an active participant with SIOR and NAIOP.
